If you found your way to this corner of the web, chances are we have a few things in common... namely an unbridled love for music and an affinity for the quirky.

While it’s still obviously a work-in-progress, this site should look a bit more complete as time passes. With any luck this’ll be a good outlet for the material I have been working on lately -- (hopefully) killer dance-rock songs, more orchestral stuff, soundtrack compositions, collaborative singer/songwriter tracks, lyric sheets and pretty much anything music-related that pops into my head in the coming weeks. The aim is to make it more of an informal space, where anyone who manages to pop in can get to know a little about me and share a little of themselves, too.

Let’s see... maybe the most important thing you should know about me is that I don’t lack for ambition. I’ve been writing my own compositions and song lyrics since I was about 11, and I even came up with a few music cues that aired on the Learning Channel and Discovery Channel when I was 15 and I became a member of BMI (performing rights organization) then, too. That, and playing in my area’s local youth orchestra for many years, played a big part in how I hear, appreciate and create my own orchestral-pop/rock music.

You should also probably know how big I am on composing. I’ve worshiped John Williams since I was nine, and he inspired me to write my own compositions from a really early age. I have been lucky enough to have many of my orchestral pieces¸ Die Himmel Zimmerflucht, Movement 1 (The Heavens Suite) played by The Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra in Thousand Oaks, CA, East Grand Rapids High School Symphony Orchestra in Grand Rapids, MI, and The Gifts of the Magi played by The Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra and sung by the Los Robles Children’s Choir in Thousand Oaks, CA.

So where does all of this tie in? I am still putting it all together myself. This is where this site pretty much comes in, because you and I both will be able to share in this together. Ultimately I want to create my own personal sound -- maybe something that meshes full, rich, pop songs with the kind of epic orchestral compositions I’ve written in the past. I am in the middle of writing a follow-up to Circles on the Wall (my debut, check it out on iTunes), so I’ll keep you updated on that in the News feed. I am trying to channel that orchestral pop/rock music vibe into something unique, so keep your eyes peeled to the site for more details on that...
